Welcome to our new Club Website!
This is our new Prescot & Knotty Ash Club website. I hope you like the new design and features. Not all content is publicly accessible. There are now at least four access-levels: public, registered, Prescot & Knotty Ash Club Members and Committee Members. Club-related contents are only accessible by our members, personal data ore only accessible by members of our committee.
All personal data, names and passwords (encrypted) are stored in the database. They can not be "harvested". The whole communication between every user and our website is safe and SSL-encrypted.
- MCA league tables, rounds and match reports will be on your website and always up-to-date.
- Chess games can be published easity, of course only in the members area. Your opponent won't have access to this
- You are welcome to contribute to our new website by writing and publishing articles, photos, chess games or whatever you like; in case if there are any problems your webmaster will help you
We want to improve the information-management and communication in our club by using newsletters and different access-levels, therefore we have to introduce some rules for management purposes:
- All members of Prescot & Knotty Ash Chess Club shall be registered on our website and shall have additional rights. Names have to be correct, usernames may vary
- Every member shall check and complete his data; name and e-mail-address are mandatory (see your profile after log-in)
- Every member will be registered for our newsletter and has, of course, the right to unsubscribe. The newsletter is necessary to inform all our members about our club, teams, AGM, ... and everything else related to our club
- Every new member shall register himself on the website and send an e-mail to the webmaster to get additional access rights.
If you have problems to log-in or if you don't know your username and/or password, please for help. Thank you.
Regards,
Joe
